It occupies a 10-story former shoe factory in downtown St. Louis and has been transformed over three decades by artist Bob Cassilly and the team that has continued his work since his death in 2011 into one of the most extraordinary built environments in the country. The building's interior and exterior have been covered, connected, and transformed with architectural salvage — gargoyles, industrial machinery, architectural fragments, tunnel systems, slides, caves, and climbing structures that occupy every surface.”
