Meramec River
“The best time to visit is early morning, when the animals are most active and the light is favorable for watching them. Fall is particularly striking — the elk rut in October means you're likely to encounter bulls with full antler racks moving through the landscape. The park is adjacent to West Tyson County Park, which has hiking trails along the Meramec River if you want to combine the wildlife drive with time on foot.”
